Paragon Service Dogs is proud to be an Accredited Member of Assistance Dogs International (ADI) and recognized for maintaining standards of excellence in all areas of our assistance dog program.
As a Member Program of ADI, Paragon Service Dogs shares common goals with others in the assistance dog industry. We believe that adhering to local, state, and federal laws, along with ethical standards, is crucial. Voluntarily participating in ADI's accreditation process reflects our dedication to this belief. Achieving ADI accreditation certifies that our assistance dog program meets ADI's high standards. ADI, an international coalition of not-for-profit members, aims to enhance the selection, training, placement, and utilization of assistance dogs worldwide.
Accreditation by ADI involves a peer-review process, ensuring compliance with ADI's operational standards of excellence. Programs undergo on-site assessments by skilled assessors who interview staff, volunteers, and clients, inspect documents, records, and facilities, and observe dog training sessions with clients and their assistance dogs.
